The Academic Programme of the 1st Frankfurt Private Capital Symposium brings together leading international scholars and practitioners to discuss the latest research and developments in private capital markets.
Hosted at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, the symposium will explore emerging trends in private debt, direct lending, venture debt, and private equity continuation vehicles, topics that are becoming increasingly important in today’s evolving financial landscape.
The programme features presentations by researchers from institutions including Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, Dartmouth, Carnegie Mellon, Nova School of Business and Economics, and Frankfurt School. A keynote address by Victoria Ivashina (Harvard Business School), one of the leading voices in private capital research, will provide additional insights into the future of private markets.
Beyond the academic discussions, the symposium is designed to encourage exchange between academia, financial institutions, policymakers, and industry professionals. By connecting research with real-world market developments, the event aims to contribute to ongoing conversations around the role of private capital in financing innovation, growth, and economic transformation in Europe.
The symposium concludes with a conference dinner for invited participants.
